On November 15th, the Washington County Republican Party is holding the County Central Committee meeting. Since the County meeting last April, one of the elected State Central Committee members has found they won’t be able to serve, and that seat is up for a special election. This election will be during the County Central Committee meeting.
Once again, I’m throwing my hat into the ring. The same tenants that motivated me in April still stand, for full transparency in the meetings, and with all the members of the SCC. With the charade of an inquiry being put against President Trump from the Impeachment Inquiry (which only now is having a vote on whether to publicly disclose the testimonies had behind closed doors), the need for transparency in public office has only been more solidified.
The National and Utah State Republican party is currently disjointed. The ineptitude of the opposition has been the only saving grace. In order to move the policies and positions of the country back into conservative values, we must have a strong base. This begins at home, here in Utah.
For those attending the County Central Committee meeting on the 15th, I’m asking for you vote. To bring accountability to those in office, to shed light on those with ulterior motives, and to solidify our Utah Republican Party.
